A Distinctive Fit Out In A Landmark London Building

Opposite the iconic Smithfield Market, 89 Charterhouse Street is a Grade II listed property rich in architectural detail and now home to one of London’s most distinctive office refurbishments.

Appointed through competitive tender, Full Circle Workplace delivered a full CAT A+ fit out across the 2nd to 5th floors for LM Stern. With Barclays occupying the ground floor and significant historical fabric throughout, discretion, precision and craftsmanship were paramount.

Complex Logistics, Bold Vision

Working within a listed framework meant carefully protecting heritage features while introducing clean, modern interventions, including full M&E upgrades, high-spec finishes, and bespoke architectural elements. A key talking point: the feature slide connecting two floors, introduced as part of the tenant’s creative brief.

With a live banking operation below and tight access above, logistics and sequencing were critical. Our in-house project management team coordinated every detail, ensuring the build respected the building’s status and the client’s ambitions in equal measure.

The Outcome
