A Premium Dining Destination In A Building Rich With History
Housed within a Grade II listed former NatWest bank, 1858’s Restaurant & Bar was envisioned as a high-end, 1920s–1930s-inspired dining experience with a modern kitchen, striking bar and bold design references throughout.
Full Circle Workplace was appointed under a complete Design & Build contract, responsible for delivering the project end-to-end, from early-stage design and compliance through to construction, fit out and final detailing.

Design-Led Transformation, Fully Managed Delivery
Every aspect of the building was reimagined to support its new function; including structural interventions, listed building approvals, and the full integration of modern systems into a space with serious heritage constraints.
We designed and delivered a generous bar area, elegant dining zones, and a professional kitchen capable of supporting over 80 covers. Interior finishes drew inspiration from early 20th-century luxury, with rich textures, feature lighting and bespoke joinery adding visual drama without overwhelming the building’s original charm.
All works were managed in-house by Full Circle Workplace, offering the client a streamlined delivery model with cost control, programme certainty, and creative continuity from start to finish.

The Outcome
A unique hospitality space that blends period detail with modern indulgence. The transformation of 1858’s is both bold and respectful. Creating a memorable venue that brings new energy to a landmark building, while raising the bar for hospitality design in the region.
Summary
This is a flagship fit out — and a perfect example of how Full Circle Workplace brings modern functionality into heritage buildings with care, creativity, and control.
